Accepting Jesus as Savior and Lord
What if none of his makes sense? What if you’re not a Christian and you don’t know anything about Jesus Christ? Most of what is shared on this site is aimed at believers. It’s for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. But, what if you haven’t accepted Christ as Lord and Savior? There may not be anything here that relates to you. When the Bible says “if God is for us who can be against us” the “us” is those believers; it’s those who, through faith, have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior. If you’ve never accepted Christ into your life, or if nobody has ever made that offer available, you can it now. All it takes is a open heart, a willing spirit, and a simple prayer. The Bible says “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through. John 3:16-17 God loves us. He gave up his only Son as a sacrifice in order for us to have a way to heaven after we die. Our life and death does not have to futile or worthless. With Christ we can have value not only in this life now, but in eternity.
To accept Christ into your life pray a prayer like this:
Father, Come into my life. I’m a sinner, unworthy of your forgiveness.
But Lord, you died on the cross for my salvation, and to forgive my sins.
Thank you Father. I accept you, and trust you and want to follow you.
Father lead me and be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for loving me. Forgive my sins.
Keep me from sinning. Fill me with your Spirit to lead me and to guide me.
In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Remember there is nothing we can do to gain entrance to Heaven.
It’s by the grace of God, and His love for us, and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that opens the door to heaven. Accepting Jesus as Savior and as Lord The Bible says we all have sinned. And it’s our sin that kills our spirit. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 The Bible also says that the wages of sin (what we deserve when we sin) is death. For the wages of sin death Romans 6:23 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins. Ephesians 2:1
It’s our sinful behavior that separates us from God. Because God is Holy and we are not, He has no obligation to forgive us of our sins and open the door to Heaven. However, because He loves us, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be the ransom, and to pay the price for our sins. When we accept Christ our sins are forgiven and we can begin a new life, living in relationship and living for Jesus.
